who we are

The Schuyler Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit focused on growing local business and building community pride. We host events that bring Schuyler together—like Cinco de Schuyler, markets, and mixers—while supporting entrepreneurs and driving economic success. It’s about connection, celebration, and making Schuyler stronger every day.

Say goodbye to the old Labor Day weekend… and welcome to Schuyler Days — the new era of celebration in Schuyler! We’ve rebranded the weekend into something bigger, louder, and way more fun. Think: heart-pounding rodeo action, live music that keeps you dancing, cold drinks in the beer garden, epic alumni tournaments, class reunions, and surprises around every corner. This is not your average small-town weekend. This is Schuyler Days — and it’s everything our community deserves.

Let’s look back

Schuyler days Q&A

Why doesn’t the Schuyler Chamber have a carnival for Schuyler Days, but has one for Cinco de Schuyler?

Great question! Before COVID-19, Schuyler did have a carnival during Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, during the pandemic, our long-time carnival partner had to let go of many of its stops — including ours — and found a new home that same weekend where they now make more revenue.

Since then, we’ve reached out to carnival companies across the U.S., but Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest times of the year for them. Most are already booked at long-standing events. We’re always exploring options, and if a quality carnival becomes available for future Schuyler Days, we’d love to bring it back! In the meantime, we continue to grow Schuyler Days with new experiences that celebrate our town in big ways.

Where can I find the full Schuyler Days schedule?

Visit our Schedule page for all events happening August 29 – Sept 1!

What does the rodeo consist of?

The rodeo will feature bull riding, bronc riding, and mutton bustin’ for the kids! Enjoy live music, beer garden bands, and concert entertainment all weekend long!

Are the alumni tournaments open to everyone or just Schuyler grads?

Alumni tournaments are mainly for Schuyler grads, but some events welcome guests too. Check each event for details!

How can I sign up to be in the parade? Is it free to register?

Parade entries are open and yes it is FREE to sign up! Visit our Parade page to register.

Are there events for kids and families?

Absolutely! From games to the parade, Schuyler Days has plenty for families. Keep an eye on our schedule for kid-friendly activities.

Where do events take place?

Events are spread throughout Schuyler — including the South Park, Chamber Grounds (Rodeo: 1017 Road C1, Schuyler, NE) and local sports fields.

Where does the money from the rodeo go?

Proceeds from the rodeo help fund future Schuyler Chamber events — including Cinco de Schuyler and our Downtown Christmas celebration. Every ticket helps us keep creating fun and meaningful moments for the community!

What is the 2025 Schuyler Days theme?

In honor of our first-ever rodeo, the 2025 theme is Western Americana! Throughout the weekend — especially during the parade — feel free to join the fun and dress the part. Cowboy hats, boots, bandanas… we’re here for it!
